I enjoyed this book very much. I thought the H/h were wonderful characters, and I liked how there relationship developed. I liked the fact that the heroine felt safe with the Hero. I loved the bit of mystery until the very end, I never figured out who the villain was. The reason it did not get 5 stars was that I found myself skipping over the last few sex scenes, and sometimes the story dragged a bit. The earlier sexual scenes were erotic, and the initial meeting between the H/h was beautiful. I think the relevance of Luanne was overstated in this story. She should not have had so many scenes or really been part of this story. I look forward to Connor's storyProduct details

Fast paced, romantic and mysterious...everything I love most when reading! I really enjoyed this book and can`t wait to read more in this series!
A very nice story with a good mix of romance, suspense, and likeable characters. It kept my interest; just didn't have the wow factor.
I am not sure where to start. This book was so good. It had a mixture of everything suspense, humor and romance. Loved Risa and Samson they are so good together. I don't want to give anything away so I will just say that you should read this book. This is apparently this authors first book, I say good job and can't wait to read more of this series.
I loved this book. It had the right amount of suspense, the right amount of drama, the right amount of cheesy romance, the right amount of sexy romance and a happy ending which for me is always a MUST.
Risa was truly a wonderful character, she was shy but gutsy at the same time, she really tried to get better instead of crying and moaning and not trying to get her life back on track.
Samson was sweet and understanding, but not too sweet and understanding. He loves Risa as a person, complete with fears and trauma, because he sees beyond the victim part of her and into the real funny and caring creature that she is. He is HOT and funny and the two of them make a wonderful couple.
Her dad is a wonderfully supporting parent, he was admirable to me because even though he has suffered a terrible loss, he sets out to help his daughter and doesn't give into the grief and gives up on life.
The suspense part of the story was also great to read because it didn't drag on and on and on. It keeps you on you toes and avoids the heavy annoying drama that sometimes goes round and round on some suspense novels. When they can't find the killer and overlook the most ridiculous clues that are basically smashed against their faces. I hate that.
It has some spelling issues but that is about it on the complains department for me.
